2008 Policies:
- A 50% deposit is required at time of booking (cash, cheque or credit card). Both the remaining balance and the final headcount are due 3 days prior to group trip.
- A full refund will be granted for groups that cancel 2 weeks prior to reserved date.
- If a group trip is cancelled due to rain, it will be rescheduled for a time that is agreed upon by both the group leader and the event manager. Rain dates are Tuesdays — Fridays only and based on availability. If the group and the event manager cannot agree on a date for rescheduling, the group will be refunded completely.
- We require a minimum of 20 people in order to accommodate a group trip.
- All group trips must begin and end on time.
- We REQUIRE that groups bring at least 2 adult chaperones to help organize and supervise the children. If you are booking a group with more than 20 children we require 1 chaperone per every 10 children.
- Groups MUST arrive at least 15 minutes early as the train ride/hay ride into the orchards will leave promptly at your scheduled start time. Since we often have groups scheduled back–to–back and because there is no access to the orchards by automobile, we need to ask for complete cooperation with this matter.
